to the lender over a number of years, they are long term loans and the terms are often defined by your income and ability to afford the repayments.
The majority of mortgages are new property purchases, however remortgages are becoming increasingly popular as each borrower becomes more aware
of what different lenders are advertising and they remortgage to lower rates etc. Some borrowers are even remortgaging or looking at second mortgages
to use their equity to help them consolidate debt or do home improvements because a remortgage can be arranged without the mortgagee having to move home.

The Mortgage Loans Market
The mortgage industry has become more and more diverse and more competative. There are 100s of different types of mortgages on offer now. Some lenders
even offer up to 100% mortgages, so if you don't have a deposit, this needn't be a problem. It can be hard to know which mortgage option to choose, in fact

It is not just the lender that you need to be thinking about, there are different types of repayment

A mortgage approval does not have to result in a mortgage being
